What they did not want you to ever find out is that your generation, the generation born between 1980-1995, actually outnumbers the Baby Boomers. They knew that if you ever turned your eye towards political reform, you could change the world. They tried to keep you sated on vapid television shows and vapid music. They cut off your education and fed you brain candy. They took away your music and gave you Top Ten pop stations. They cut off your art and replaced it with endless reality shows for you to plug into, hoping you would sit quietly by as they ran the world. We as a society are only as strong as our weakest link. Give ‘em hell, kids.

Just… No… This is like the best way ever to make potential people who want to take a part in this movement NOT JOIN because they think you’re targeting them, making them feel shit cause they are born white and male. It’s just stupid, and makes so many people who potentially agree with the message not want to educate them self or get into it.

For the record, it was made by a white man. But who cares? A white man who can’t understand that this type of thing is a reactionary joke based on their place of privilege in society probably doesn’t have a place in feminism/social justice anyway. Good riddance.

Definitely don’t agree. Doesn’t matter who made it, their gender or their colour. If you’re new at this and this is what meets you, your first thought is going to be: why do they hate white men? I get what this message means, but I also get that people who potentially wanna get into it wont get it, or will take it as an insult/attack and not understand it. I don’t agree with this kind of stuff cause it doesn’t help us get rid of the stereotype of angry women who hate men. And it doesn’t make people who should be EDUCATED(btw) want to listen either. There’s better ways to approach it instead of making white guys feel shit about them self for being born white.

I’m not worried about priortizing concern for the feelings of white guys because white guys have repeated shown no interest in reflecting on how their actions impace the feelings of people who aren’t white guys. And yes, I’m saying that as a white guy. You need to realize that people with privilege will take any imposition on their entitlement as a grevious affront. There is no way to play nice that they won’t insist hurts their feelings. And if you are a white guy who’ll be petty enough to withhold support for civil rights because you don’t think someone was sufficently deferential in trying to secure those rights? Well, you ARE being targeted. You deserve to feel targeted. You should have your positions shaken up and challenged. I’m continually perplexed at how this is positioned as a bad thing. We’re trying to change things here. That means upsetting the status quo. You can’t do that without making the status quo upset.

You know what? White guys can take having their feelings hurt. What has been done in our name is a lot fucking worse than that. I’m not interested in pursuing the kind of change white guys are comfortable with. We should be made uncomfortable. We should be pushed past our limits. Myself included. Social change that is limited to the imaginations of white dudes isn’t fucking enough. It isn’t fucking anything.

You say this feeds into sterotypes of angry women who hate men, but who do you think created those sterotypes? It wasn’t women. It was men. Mostly white men who wanted to dismiss women and belittle women, so they invented charactitures and straw feminists to bemoan. That sterotype isn’t something feminism brought upon itself. It was a tool of men who wanted to ignore women. It is a crutch for mysogony. It should not be treated with one ounce of plausibility and it should now disuade one iota of ire. Same for all of the “angry marginalized” stereotypes that are all really just mocking people for being upset by systems of oppression. They all have reason to be angry, quite simply. White dudes just don’t. Shed no tear for us. We’ll be fine.

Everyone in this post is generalizing. I don’t care if you have a problem with the history of the white male, because you should, or if you feel the need to point out that they’re still privileged, because we are, but you can’t defeat racism or sexism by turning it around on point. That achieves nothing BUT racism and sexism. I can’t begin to express the amount of brilliant people I know who just flat out hate people for being white men because they wanted to stand for equality.

If you want to call out someone for furthering or taking advantage of a broken piece of society that I as a white male had nothing to do with creating, do it. It needs to change. Don’t, however, generalize and accuse all white men of being racist, sexist scum because if you’re wrong you simply achieve that yourself.

The latest rumors surrounding the Xbox One are that the demos that Microsoft allowed people to play on at E3 were not running on an Xbox One, but instead running on high-end PCs with Titan graphics cards.

If this is the case, they were running the games on a system that is around 3x faster than the Xbox One.

These rumors are backed up by images that clearly show a high-end desktop under the displays of the Xbox One stands at E3.

people have actually sat down on their chair, went to a gaming website, searched for the xbox one, clicked the pre-order button, paid $500, and are actually waiting for it

Yeah I don’t care how much you liked the 360 don’t support this, don’t make this a thing.

A lot of place don’t have access to stable or an abundance of internet still. This shuts out an entire fan base of video game fans.

Though, I can somewhat agree with the fees for trading and reselling in order to benefit developers the way the xbox one is setting it up takes away a lot of the freedom of a product that you OWN. You paid for it! Selling and trading isn’t piracy.

On top of that independent game shops suffer. That’s not okay and further strangles the job market.
